Magherafelt Chamber has learned this week that Magherafelt District Council has made a very hasty decision to support one of the three proposed out of town food stores. At a council meeting last Tuesday 7/5/13, councillors voted to support the plans for one of the three proposed food stores, despite the Chamber addressing the Council to voice their concerns and highlighting the irreversible damage this will cause to Magherafelt .
